Visiting the Hygienist and Dr. Romano After a patient has been diagnosed with Periodontal Disease and has gone through adequate treatment it is extremely important to continue every 3 months with a Periodontal Maintenance to prevent recurrence by allowing early recognition. In this program the Hygienist and Dr. Romano have periodic evaluation of pockets by x-rays, special measuring tool "probe" and customize your Home-care instructions.
It is also recommended for those patients that have extensive dental bridges, dental implants and crowns to be also monitored periodically by your general dentist
