Since relocating to Miami from Mexico in 1985, he has served patients from across the region, including locals from Miami, South Miami, and surrounding areas. Dr. Romano's educational journey is a testament to his dedication to advancing the field of periodontics. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico, where he also completed an internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Hospital General de Zapopan. Dr. Romano then pursued further specialization, completing a four-year postgraduate program in Periodontics and Dental Implants at the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. During his time at Tufts, he earned a Master of Science degree and conducted award-winning research on the effects of dental root proximity and periodontal disease. His studies have contributed valuable insights to the field of periodontology, demonstrating his commitment to both clinical practice and research.
